The pink sheet stock ADOT had no bid or ask these days, which was the first time this stock has done this because ive followed it. When this occurs my on-line broker prevents me from placing a limit trade on it. What does it mean for this stock that the bid and ask are gone?

nobody has made an offer or cares right now. Don’t waste your time, the charges will eat up all your money.

There was a bid and ask price.
The bid price was 0
The ask price was .0001
The trading volume was 209,755,997 and the days high was .0002, don’t waste your time with penny stocks. Advanced Optics Elec Inc, isn’t going anywhere and will probably be delisted.

ADOT I wouldn’t touch. 18 billion Authorized shares according to the Nevada Sec of state. This company is a share selling machine. Every few months they raise the Authorized by a few Billion.

Many will say don’t fool with penny stocks. It is true for the novice, chances are, you are going to get taken for over %90 of your investment. If you learn the game daily gains of 300% to 600% are not uncommon. BUT it is a tricky game, and there are many people that want to take your money from you. Fundamentals are out the window, it’s hype and news as a rule. Only play with money you can afford to lose.
Google CMKX , an outright scam if there ever was one. But you can still make money on the scams.I had a %1000 gain in a month. Those who held lost everything.
There are some legitmate companies on the OTCBB. Who would not have LOVED to buy FRPT below $1, or BYBI at around $0.30. But these are the needle in the haystack but if you find them they can be life changers. One thing, the internet can provide alot of info but old fashioned legwork and phone calls will tell the the story.
Familiarize yourself with how to lookup Secretary of State information. How to call a transfer agent. and any bit of verifiable info you can find. Once a stock goes over 500 million authorized shares I will not touch it. Chances are if it’s not a scam, it is a dilution machine.
I am looking at a stock now that has 50 million authorized shares, 10 million issued. they have over 50 retail stores in the US and a few in New Zealand and China as well. BUT they are not current in thier SEC filings, info is hard to get. I’m making calls and doing lots of legwork before I put any of my money in this company.

Dude, this thing trdes at one-hundreth of a cent per share.
There is probably no one available to buy or sell it. No dealer would take it because there really can be no viable spread.
